Start a Project
Step 1: Register
- Register - join our growing network of citizen science program coordinators and volunteers!
- Fill out the standard required information and click submit
- Be sure to validate your email so we can stay in touch!
Step 2: Become a Program Coordinator
- Request permission to be a program coordinator and create your own projects
- Be sure to tell us a little about your citizen science project - its purpose and goals

Step 3: Create Your Project
- Create a new project
- Tell us about your project purpose, goals, research question, and sampling protocol
- Add photos to your project!
- Create your own data entry forms
- Solicit volunteers and tell them to sign up and join your project
- Approve those volunteers who have been trained and have requested to join your project
- Encourage your volunteers to collect field data
